Job Description
The Operations Manager will oversee division procurements, budgeting and invoicing in support of the agency’s financial empowerment projects and programs, including NYC Free Tax Prep, the NYC Financial Empowerment Centers and recently announced programs to bring financial and consumer education to public school students. The ideal candidate must excel at building relationships, demonstrate interest in the City’s efforts to improve the financial health of all New Yorkers, is process-oriented and can effectively manage multiple projects and timelines.
Responsibilities include managing projects related to financial and contract management; acting as a strategic partner with OFE staff; supervising the Operations Coordinator; developing internal systems; liaising with contractors; building relationships with City agencies; providing updates to the Director of Operations; drafting materials; and implementing special projects as needed.
