About the Role:
- The Copy Editor supports aligned Managing Editors for dedicated accounts, handling editing, proofreading, data checking, and submissions.
- Responsibilities are coordinated with the lead editor and Traffic Management to meet daily and evolving team needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains knowledge of relevant style guidelines, including client-specific, AMA, and Chicago styles.
- Contributes to updates to the Editorial SOP and lists of frequently encountered editorial issues.
- Provides timely communication between Accounts, Scientific, and third-party contributors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; at least 5 years of medical editing experience.
- Experience with multiple therapeutic areas and media formats preferred; publications experience required.
- Proficiency with EndNote is required.
