Bookkeeper

Position Summary:

• We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.
• This role involves month-end closes, payroll reconciliations, year-end adjustments, and onboarding bookkeeping for new customers.

Responsibilities:

• Categorize daily financial transactions and perform thorough reconciliation of books to ensure consistency with bank statements.
• Execute year-end reconciliation, payroll reconciliation, merchant fee adjustments, and revenue timing adjustments.
• Communicate effectively with clients and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely task completion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum one year of experience in executing month-end financial closes.
• Exceptional communication skills and demonstrated analytical acumen.

Nice to Haves:

• Prior experience in a remote working environment.
• Understanding of tax requirements for Sole Proprietors and S-Corps.
