Responsibilities:

  • Achieves assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and completes strategic customer account plans.
  • Coordinates sales efforts with marketing, sales management, customer service, accounting, logistics, and technical support groups.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 3-5 years of direct technical sales experience, preferably in a clinical diagnostic laboratory setting.
  • Requires a BA/BS degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
  • CRM experience, particularly with Salesforce.com, is preferred along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Skills and Environment:

  • Exhibits excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills with strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
  • Must be a standout colleague who excels in collaborative team settings and can work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Should be a continuous learner with a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines, working independently, and being diligent and resourceful.
