Senior Legal Counsel

Seeking a smart, motivated attorney to help the company grow and scale as KOHO continues to deliver financial products and services that improve the lives of consumers across Canada. The Senior Legal Counsel will support a broad range of legal areas with a focus on commercial work, privacy law, as well as product development and regulatory matters. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, supporting product and partnership teams, developing contract templates, supporting risk management initiatives, advising on financial services regulations, drafting terms and conditions, reviewing marketing materials, and managing privacy law matters. The successful candidate will have 6+ years of Canadian legal experience, strong contract skills, and familiarity with privacy, consumer protection, and financial services regulations. A proactive, organized, and fast-learning individual with a growth mindset is desired.
