Financial reporting: Leading the production of accurate, timely, and compliant monthly consolidated financial statements and regulatory returns, ensuring audit scrutiny
Technical lead: Researching and documenting complex accounting positions under IFRS (including IFRS 9 and new product launches), ensuring we have a defensible and documented approach for every major decision.
People management: Managing a team of Senior Accountants responsible for month end close, deep technical work and operational accounting (including accounts payable, vendor payments, invoicing).
Lead complex financial pipeline builds: Design and develop scalable data pipelines supporting banking processes, from scoping through delivery
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Credit, Payment Operations, Tech, Security, Risk, and Finance teams to define data requirements
Build credit reporting infrastructure: Create reliable, performant operational data models that power internal and external reporting, audits, and money movements.
Work with Product Managers to develop and refine product strategy and vision.
Prepare wireframes, user flows, process flows, customer journeys and other artifacts to effectively communicate interactions and design ideas.
Work within an iterative design process: rapid prototyping, initiating user experience research, incorporating feedback, launching quickly and testing hypotheses in an agile environment.
