Staff Software Engineer

Role Overview:

• The Staff Software Engineer will develop a new product platform with an agentic-first development approach.
• This platform helps families discover and access public-funded educational resources.
• Deliver a personalized, AI-guided planning journey to ease navigating public-funded alternative education.

Core Responsibilities:

• Drive engineering initiatives across discovery, payments, reimbursement workflows, and supply eligibility.
• Demonstrate AI-native development mindset and establish best practices.
• Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and on-call rotations.

Desired Experience:

• Over 7 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Proven senior technical leadership with architectural decision-making.

Other Considerations:

• Experience in EdTech or building products for learners.
• Familiarity with search and discovery systems.
• Background in marketplace technologies or fast-paced startups.
