Editorial Event Producer - Contract Opportunity

About this Role:

• Work closely with Semafor’s Executive Editor and live journalism team to produce the flagship global economic event.
• Engage prospective guests, develop thoughtful programming recommendations, and manage multiple executive relationships.
• Speak fluently across industries and global economic issues to connect expertise to the editorial agenda.

Your Responsibilities:

• Own outreach and booking for a portfolio of senior executives, government leaders, and other high-profile guests.
• Lead follow-ups and updates to secure commitments, and serve as a compelling ambassador for Semafor.
• Lead pre-event editorial calls with executive teams to discuss programming and surface compelling areas for conversation.

What Makes You Qualified:

• 7+ years in broadcast journalism, executive communications, event content or programming development, or related fields.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven ability to engage confidently with senior-level executives.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, adept at juggling multiple relationship streams.
