Overview:
- Directs and coordinates activities of workers and service companies engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment.
- Ensures maintenance of buildings and grounds while supporting store operations.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews job orders, determines work priorities, and coordinates scope of work using dispatch functions.
- Directs preventive maintenance programs, vendor activities, and internal personnel to improve facilities and equipment.
- Approves invoices, monitors expenditures, and estimates non-contract service costs.
Qualifications:
- Requires electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and construction knowledge, plus supervisory experience.
- 4-year degree or comparable knowledge, with strong verbal communication and reasoning skills.
Work Environment:
- Frequent local travel and work in transitional construction and changing climatic environments.
- Occasional lifting of moderate weight equipment and climbing ladders, including rooftop work.
