Responsibilities:
- Design, build, maintain, and operate large-scale distributed systems behind a live AAA title.
- Own the full shipping lifecycle, integrating external APIs and optimizing platform costs.
- Mentor junior engineers and help set engineering standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend, network, or distributed systems.
- Strong fundamentals in concurrency, Linux, databases, and networking.
- A security mindset at all layers and excellent communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Game industry experience, especially with Xbox Live, Steamworks, or PlayStation Network.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, CI/CD, and live-service operations.
