Job Description
As a Diagnostic Inside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing sales for IDEXX’s Rapid Assay, Chemistry, and Fecal businesses through phone, email, and virtual meetings with customers. You will collaborate with the field-based Veterinary Diagnostic Consultants (VDCs) in your assigned geography to agree on and prioritize opportunities to generate revenue through adoption, utilization, and conversion of select products in the IDEXX portfolio. You will build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and present tailored solutions to drive business growth.
The primary success metric for the position is quarterly revenue closed during sales calls. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include activities outlined below and any additional tasks that may be assigned to support the business needs, such as the effective use of sales tools and customer training.
