The Role:
- Serve as fractional corporate counsel to startups and growth-stage tech companies.
- Manage the full corporate lifecycle from formation through financings.
- Help standardize recurring work into playbooks and AI-assisted workflows.
What You'll Own:
- Formation, governance, equity, financings, and secondaries for company clients.
- Cross-functional coordination with employment and commercial counsel.
- Scale the practice by building templates, checklists, and quality bars.
Ideal Candidate:
- Emerging-companies lawyer with 5+ years of corporate practice and venture financing experience.
- Strong command of Delaware corporate law and startup equity mechanics.
- Customer-first mindset with responsiveness and low ego.
Engagement:
- Hourly rate of $100-$250 based on experience.
- At least 10 hours per week availability, part-time independent contractor.
- Remote role based anywhere in the U.S.
