Job Description

The Business Development Representative is responsible for proactive outbound prospecting and lead management, qualifying prospects from lead status into the sales pipeline. This role acts as a layer between marketing and sales, handling all first contact with new clients and building relationships through marketing activity, including events, campaigns, direct mail, and email. Essential functions include directing external communication with potential prospects via telephone, email, and other methods to secure meetings with Regional Sales Managers. They build initial rapport, educate, and generate prospect’s interest in Nextech products and services, gathering key information about the prospects needs and accurately providing this information to the Regional Sales Managers. The role also requires documenting all conversations, appointments, and meetings in Salesforce.
