About the Role:
- Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager or Quantity Surveyor for heavy civil and site development projects.
- This role ensures delivery of disciplined, value-driven cost management services with a focus on managing project budgets, controlling costs, and providing commercial oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate and negotiate change orders, produce cost plans, and reconcile cost data throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Interface regularly with general contractors and client stakeholders to gather project status and inform cost estimates.
- Manage cost checks, valuations, and post-contract cost control including change management and governance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 6–7 years of relevant experience in cost management within the construction industry, including heavy civil projects.
- RICS accreditation or working toward it preferred; strong communication and negotiation skills.
Additional Information:
- Remote role with 25-50% travel to project sites; must be based in the United States.
- Base salary range $130,000-$150,000 USD plus eligibility for bonuses and comprehensive benefits package.
