Business Analyst

Their award-winning smart data pipe extracts, standardizes and analyses small business accounting data via robust APIs, putting it directly in the hands of those that need it so they can do their jobs faster and smarter. The Business Analyst will act as the bridge between business and technology data‑sharing and API‑driven platform, ensuring requirements are clear, actionable, and aligned with client and regulatory needs. Translate complex data‑exchange scenarios into user stories with precise acceptance criteria, maintaining a well‑prioritized backlog. Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, and Architecture to refine stories around API estate, roles & permissions, and secure data flows. Document and validate API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger), interface contracts, and integration patterns that underpin connectivity with accounting platforms and financial institutions. Support UAT and trace requirements through build and test, ensuring delivery meets compliance and business value. Facilitate workshops with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify scope, dependencies, and success metrics.
