Job Description

The Analyst, Rebate Operations is responsible for analyzing, understanding, and implementing PBM to pharmaceutical manufacturer or GPO rebate submission and reconciliation processes. This individual will work closely with the Manager of Rebate Operations to assure complete accurate and timely claim data submissions to Prime Therapeutics. In addition, the Analyst will assure rebate submission standards are met, rebate payments are reconciled and investigate and resolve any discrepancies. Will be expected to understand the departments and customers’ business needs to facilitate successful delivery of information for decision-making. Reviews pharmaceutical manufacturer contracts and sets-up and maintains contract parameters in the rebate processing system. Oversees the delivery and processing of medical claim data to Prime Therapeutics. Perform Value-Based Contract invoicing. Maintains POS program data into claim adjudication system. Audits rebate payment and exclusion files for accuracy. Works with Finance in the allocation and processing of client rebate payments. Serves as IRC’s Subject Matter Expert in Medical, POS and Outcomes-based rebate programs. Assists department in client setup and implementation. Backfill Admin tasks as needed. Able to answer client/contract questions via SR requests. Provides as needed support to rebates processing system. Generate Client Specific Reports as needed. Other duties as assigned.
