Job Summary:
- May Mobility seeks a Lead, Safety Assurance to serve as primary authority on AV safety compliance.
- This role leads regulatory engagement, from monitoring requirements to NHTSA correspondence.
- The position reports to Legal and provides objective compliance perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve SGO incident narratives and monitor NHTSA developments.
- Conduct regulatory gap analyses and maintain compliance documentation library.
- Advise on safety best practices and coordinate with outside counsel on strategy.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional written communication and regulatory expertise.
- 7+ years in AV safety regulation or incident management.
- Deep familiarity with FMVSS, NHTSA frameworks, and SAE standards.
