Job Description

Partner with the functional leaders to develop, interpret and implement financial and pricing concepts. Use background in hospitality applications (common and proprietary) to understand IDeaS fit in the market in order use pricing and market analysis to lead the implementation of pricing for IDeaSโ€™ products, integrations, services and solutions in order to optimize profits and meet sales, marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives. Participate in the business planning process for new and emerging initiatives. Work with Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, and other internal departments to develop pricing and packaging strategies. Partner with the Strategic Alliances and 3rd party Integration partners to bundle pricing for full solution. Research, analyze, and track competitor pricing and market trends and recommend tactical and strategic pricing, and packaging actions. Consolidate information from multiple sources into recommendations, reports, presentations, and communication messages to set pricing strategies that align with local market and industry demands. Drive the business planning process for new and emerging products and initiatives to assist in the identification of pricing, and packaging needs. Perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements on hospitality industry and our product line. Review and analyze financial statements and reports. Prepare periodic financial forecasts. Develop and maintain pricing models and pricing performance metrics for products, integrations, services and solutions. Gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, trend future requirements and operating forecasts. Prepare pricing and revenue impact forecasts. Research questions from key internal stakeholders regarding financial data. Provide financial support to the business; act as a liaison between Finance and the business. Present complex information with business solutions to non-research audiences including executive level management. May work remotely pursuant to companyโ€™s flexible work program.
