Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities and international subsidiaries, researching variances and managing multi-currency transactions.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, maintain fixed asset schedules, and prepare schedules for year-end audits and tax filings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, with 2-4 years of accounting experience ideally in public accounting, nonprofit, manufacturing, or international settings.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, double-entry accounting, and month-end close processes with proficiency in Excel and accounting software like Xero.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment across time zones.
