Network Engineer (Network Monitoring experience)

Job Description:

• This role is for an Engineer I with strong Linux background and deep experience in network monitoring platforms.
• You have around 8 years in the field and operate independently from day one.
• You'll work on a complex, large-scale enterprise environment where monitoring infrastructure impacts network operations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical work as a mid-to-senior team member, taking ownership of your area.
• Administer, maintain, and extend network monitoring platforms including updates, patches, and configuration.
• Develop and maintain scripts in Perl, Python, and shell to automate monitoring tasks.

Qualifications:

• Around 8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking or systems engineering.
• Strong Linux platform experience with system administration and scripting.
• Solid knowledge of network monitoring products and SNMP-based tools in environments of 1,000+ devices.
