Job Summary:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of California workers' compensation claims with professionalism and empathy.
- Apply seasoned judgment to claim investigations, compensability decisions, and timely resolution strategies.
- Serve as a developmental step toward more senior claim positions.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and adjust workers compensation claims in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform TD/PD/AWW calculations and negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys.
- Assist in selection and supervision of defense attorneys and monitor subrogation claims.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of California Workers’ Compensation claims management experience.
- California Adjuster’s license (SIP) required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and strong organizational skills.
