Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Receives and verifies invoices, requisitions, and expense reports.
• Verifies that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
• Enters batches of invoices, processes invoices for payment, and file paid invoices.

Duties:

• Responds to inquiries from vendors and company personnel.
• Performs research to resolve statements, credits, problem invoices, and disputes.
• Assembles and processes overnight shipments.

Additional tasks:

• Assists Accountant as needed with monthly closeout and generating reports.
• Maintains petty cash card program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
