Job Description

Deliver exceptional customer service to external and internal customers, meeting or exceeding healthcare industry service standards. Communicate promptly and professionally, handling crisis situations effectively. Answer incoming calls, manage inquiries, and schedule patient access to clinical services in the Connected Care Center. Record accurate information in the electronic medical record, assess, and direct calls appropriately. Ensure administrative and financial preparation of patients, verifying information and conducting financial screening. Prepare for visits by reviewing items and obtaining records, arrange accommodations, and provide reminders. Process internal referrals, ensuring required information is present and up-to-date. Engage in educational activities, maintain competencies, and act as a resource for Patient Access Services expertise. Fill in as needed for any PAS/R position within the service area.
