Job Description
The Vice President, Business Development is responsible for generating fresh new business and playing a hunter role in acquiring new clients. This role focuses on identifying high-value opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The VP will work in close collaboration with the business development team, manage client opportunities, and promote the company's capabilities through various lead generation activities.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic business plans, engaging with life science clients, managing the client sales cycle, and promoting company capabilities. The VP also establishes and maintains relationships with clients, leverages these relationships to generate new business, and manages client opportunities. Additionally, they will work with the Sales Operations team to inform market research, contribute to pricing, track competitors, and work with the business development, client services, and marketing teams.
