Sr Engineering Manager-Android & Device Platforms

Job Summary:

• Oversee software engineering across device-side product areas, including field operations, exam-room technology, waiting-room displays, and back-office systems.
• Manage a mix of senior Engineering Leads and individual-contributor engineers, directly owning hiring, performance, and career growth.
• Stay close to the code, contribute directly where it matters, and champion AI-assisted and agentic ways of working.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate priorities and dependencies across three or more concurrently active product areas with different tech stacks and team maturity.
• Contribute to cross-org architecture discussions (ARB/RFCs), bringing a device-fleet perspective to trade-off conversations.
• Partner closely with Product and Design leads on execution across device product areas.

What We Need:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading engineers or engineering teams.
• Recent hands-on technical involvement within the last 1-2 years, including production code contributions and code reviews.
• Current hands-on experience with native Android development using Kotlin and modern Android practices.
