What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers, including hiring, performance management, and technical mentorship.
- Set technical direction and help define the roadmap, translating ambiguous product and customer needs into clear engineering priorities.
- Stay deeply engaged in technical work by guiding architecture and helping the team build scalable, reliable production systems.
Who We Hope You Are:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful experience building production software systems.
- 2+ years managing or technically leading engineers, with a track record of hiring and developing strong talent.
- Strong technical depth in distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, or modern web application development.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience building AI-powered or AI-native products, especially with LLMs or agentic workflows.
- Experience using AI coding tools to accelerate development while applying strong engineering judgment.
- Experience in fast-paced startups or complex regulated domains like insurance or fintech.
