Senior Operations Manager

What You'll Own:

• Accounts payable & receivable through Bill.com, including bill processing, invoicing, and wire scheduling.
• State compliance & registrations, surety bonds, and insurance management.
• Monthly close, board material coordination, and HR/people operations support.

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days):

• Achieve fluency across operational and financial workflows, stabilizing high-priority processes like AP/AR and monthly close.
• Convert institutional knowledge into documented SOPs with a prioritized action plan for operational gaps.
• Ensure nothing time-sensitive falls through the cracks, with systems that hold reliably.

What You're Not Responsible For:

• This is not a Controller or CFO role; day-to-day bookkeeping is handled externally, and higher-level financial work is not a core requirement.
• The core mandate is to own the operational engine, not to serve as the finance function.
• Candidates who can contribute to management reporting are a plus, but focus is on execution and infrastructure building.
