Job Description
This role is primarily remote after training, but requires flexibility to commute to the Wheeling, WV office on a monthly basis.
The Billing Assistant will be responsible for providing operational and administrative billing support to partners, clients and team. This includes performing tasks surrounding the preparation and issuance of client invoices, generating and disseminating information, helping with daily activities and contributing to projects.
The Billing Assistant will perform edits to draft client invoices and execute other tasks throughout the invoice preparation process. They will perform billing administrative tasks defined by client including: Basic Narrative edits, Write offs, Write up / down, Preparing and finalizing bills, Pulling back up disbursements, Enter and/or make adjustments to time entry. They will support departmental initiatives and projects and ensure all client specific needs are met regarding billing processes, alternative billing arrangements, etc. while adhering to Williams Lea policies.
