About the Role:

  • Serve as a full charge bookkeeper for moderate complexity medium customers, ensuring accuracy and currency of their financial records.
  • Own problems end-to-end, stay outcome-focused, and utilize AI tools to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage concurrent bookkeeping for multiple customers, handling data entry, reconciliations, payroll, and periodic clean-ups.
  • Maintain an average of 70% billable client work, build positive customer relationships, and achieve high net promoter scores.
  • Adhere to established financial control processes and actively participate in collaborative knowledge-sharing to identify improvements.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping with minimal oversight and a degree in accounting, finance, or business.
  • Strong fundamentals in accounting and nonprofit bookkeeping, with deep experience in Aplos or similar systems and proficiency in Excel.
  • Clear communicator who builds trust, flags risks early, is deadline-driven, and comfortable using AI tools to accelerate work while maintaining accuracy.
