Job Description

In this role, you'll work with advertisers in a consultative, solutions-oriented manner—identifying partnership opportunities and driving revenue across BDG’s diverse portfolio of digital brands and platforms. The ideal candidate is focused, curious, and highly connected, with a proven track record of selling digital media and content marketing programs. You should be a creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building meaningful, long-term client relationships.Serve as a strategic consultant to clients, educating them on BDG’s audience, brand portfolio, and full suite of digital offerings to drive long-term partnership opportunities. Develop a deep understanding of client business objectives and industry challenges to inform tailored solutions and drive revenue growth. Lead the end-to-end sales process—from prospecting and pitching to execution and renewal—managing a robust pipeline of both agency and client-direct relationships. Cultivate and expand senior-level relationships across brands and agencies in the Midwest, positioning BDG as a key digital media partner. Collaborate cross-functionally with pre-sale, marketing, editorial, and account management teams to develop innovative, insight-driven proposals that align with client KPIs. Act as a thought leader and strategic partner during ideation sessions, offering proactive and creative solutions beyond the RFP process. Own and grow a book of business, setting and exceeding revenue targets through strategic account planning and market development.
