Clinical Operations Intern

The Clinical Operations Intern will check patients in for their scheduled virtual appointments and verify required information. This person will provide frequent, hands-on tech troubleshooting to help patients connect to their virtual visits (audio, video, device setup, platform access) and collect and document patient copays or outstanding balances. The intern will enter clinical and administrative information into patient charts with accuracy and attention to detail and recognize when a patient’s needs fall outside their scope and promptly direct them to the appropriate clinical team member. The intern will also assist with general administrative tasks to support smooth virtual clinic operations and maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards at all times.
