About the Role:
- As the first dedicated Data Scientist, you'll shape modeling, experimentation, and ML at Ophelia.
- You'll turn operational and growth questions into rigorous, well-scoped models that ship and get used.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build forecasting models for business operations and marketing, plus outcome and risk models.
- Design and analyze experiments and quasi-experiments for true impact measurement.
- Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to deploy models into robust pipelines with continuous monitoring.
What We're Looking For:
- 3-5+ years of applied data science with strong stats and ML foundations.
- Advanced Python proficiency with pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, and gradient boosting.
- Comfort using AI-augmented tools and a passion for evidence-based addiction treatment.
