Director, Platform Engineering

Leadership & Strategy: Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Platform Engineering, aligning with StackAdapt’s business and product goals. Lead, mentor, and grow multiple engineering managers and senior engineers, fostering a culture of high performance. Drive technical decision-making and set standards for platform architecture.

Platform & Technical Excellence: Oversee the design and evolution of shared platform capabilities such as internal frameworks, APIs, services, tooling, and developer infrastructure. Ensure the platform supports high-scale, low-latency, and highly available systems. Champion best practices in software development, CI/CD and testing.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand their needs and enable faster, safer delivery of features. Collaborate with Data, Security, and Compliance stakeholders to ensure platform capabilities meet regulatory and privacy requirements. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
