Engineering Operations:

• Set engineering standards for code quality, documentation, and testing coverage.
• Create clarity and alignment with sprint planning, roadmap processes, and priority-setting frameworks.
• Own the release process, designing deployment procedures with proper testing and monitoring.

Team Leadership:

• Mentor engineers, helping them grow their skills and impact within the company.
• Build a strong team culture through rituals that support high performance.
• Foster collaboration between product, operations, and engineering teams.

Scaling the Team:

• Eventually recruit and hire as the team scales beyond its current size.
• Implement processes for software development from CI/CD, testing frameworks, to deployment pipelines.
• Participate in technical decision-making, providing leadership and direction to the engineering team.
