Role Overview:
- You will act as a Senior Data Modeler focusing on business metadata and data definition management.
- You will partner with stakeholders to capture, validate, and certify business definitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Map data assets across Finance, Commercial, HR, and Marketing, including tables, fields, and metrics.
- Facilitate definition workshops and recommend business definitions with calculation logic.
- Upload approved definitions to Unity Catalog and verify discoverability.
Tools & Technologies:
- Use Microsoft Excel, Python, and Databricks for intake and metadata management.
- Leverage Power BI, Azure Data Platform, Jira, and Confluence as needed.
- Document processes and establish lightweight governance standards.
