Senior Programs & Strategy Manager

About the Role:

• As a Senior Programs & Strategy Manager, you will own the intellectual purpose and content of FAR.AI's events portfolio, ensuring every event has a clear theory of change and program that creates new subfields and shapes the global research agenda.
• You will work closely with the Head of Programs, research team, and external partners to design programming that is intellectually rigorous and strategically considered.

Responsibilities:

• Design agendas for FAR.AI's events portfolio (12+ events per year), from theory of change through to session structure, speaker selection, and attendee composition.
• Own the content framing for each event, developing theory of change documents, briefing notes, and framing materials.
• Lead attendee sourcing and invitation processes, building target participant lists and managing outreach to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience designing agendas for technical, academic, or policy-focused events, with a track record of intellectually ambitious programs.
• Genuine fluency in the AI safety field, including key questions, players, and debates, with ability to assess speaker quality and identify agenda gaps.
• Proven ability to manage high-status stakeholders, produce original written content, and work collaboratively across a high-volume portfolio.
