Job Overview:
- Lead mechanical design engineering on multi-disciplined project teams for special purpose equipment and pressure vessels.
- Apply expertise in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and machine design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex calculations, designs, and specifications for mechanical systems.
- Develop budgets, schedules, and project work plans; interface with customers.
- Mentor junior engineers and communicate with vendors.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance.
- BSME or MSME from ABET-accredited program with 10+ years of experience.
- Experience with FEA and software such as ANSYS, AutoPIPE, and AFT flow simulation.
