Controller

About The Role:

• We're looking for a Controller to own every aspect of accounting at Canopy and help the CFO run operations for crisp revenue contracting through recognition and collection.
• This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for an accounting leader who can bring collaboration and service orientation across the company.

What You'll Own:

• You'll define the roadmap and deliver services for Canopy's accounting team, including a modernized tech stack, revenue integrity, and AI integration.
• You'll own technical accounting policies, GAAP compliance, the annual audit, tax compliance, and the corporate insurance program.
• You'll manage the accounting team and develop relationships across the leadership team, surfacing risks and opportunities early.

What We're Looking For:

• 10+ years of accounting experience with at least 4 years owning the close at a high-growth, venture-backed startup.
• Active CPA license and Big 4 experience, with a genuine appetite for hands-on work.
• Experience with SaaS, AI tools, and AI-native ERP implementation is a big plus.
