Senior Software Engineer

Role Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and operate the online feature store serving ML features to production models.
• Build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines for computing and publishing features.
• Work on data models and Postgres schemas for real-time feature serving, optimizing for performance and scale.
• Act as technical leader for feature store infrastructure, driving enhancements to quality and reliability.
• Partner with Data Science, Analytics Engineering, Product, and Application Development teams.
• Contribute to mentoring junior engineers and code reviews.

Role Requirements:

• 5+ years of software experience with focus on backend systems (Python) and 2-3 years of MLOps.
• Strong experience with relational databases (Postgres) for schema design and query optimization.
• Experience building and operating real-time inference systems.
• Understanding of ML-serving infrastructure demands like data freshness and feature consistency.
• Experience in multi-service architectures and Agile development.

• Annual salary range of $175,000 - $220,000 CAD with potential 10% annual bonus.
