Senior Technical Revenue Accountant

Genesys is seeking a Senior Technical Revenue Accountant to join their team, responsible for revenue recognition across various streams like Cloud and On-Premise. This role involves ad-hoc analysis, contract reviews, and collaboration with Sales/Deal Desk. The candidate will be instrumental in ensuring accurate revenue reporting and accounting, working closely with Deal Desk and Finance teams to review deal structures and terms. Key responsibilities include revenue analysis, technical revenue guidance, and supporting revenue projects. This includes reviewing customer orders, providing accounting guidance, and proposing solutions within the company's revenue recognition policy. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 3 years of experience in Revenue Recognition (ASC 606), and experience with software clients or the SaaS industry.
