The Deputy Managing Director for the States department will help lead Climate Powerβs work in target states and House districts. The Deputy Managing Director will work with the Managing Director to develop and execute a strategic communications and earned media plan to drive a narrative around the importance of climate and clean energy investments, highlight the benefits of climate action in key communities to help hold opponents accountable, and block efforts to dismantle climate progress.
This role will manage staff, relationships with other departments, and strategic communications programs and projects. Responsibilities include developing plans, overseeing work in target states, managing staff, and managing projects across the team.
