About the Role:
- Own the technical backbone of how AZX serves and evaluates models at scale.
- Create technical direction for reliable model serving infrastructure.
- This high-leverage IC role spans inference platform and evaluation systems.
What You Will Do:
- Build and maintain backend services for our LLM gateway with routing, rate limiting, and key management.
- Contribute to sandboxing and isolation infrastructure for safe agent code execution.
- Support Kubernetes-based platform services and write high-performance backend code.
Core Qualifications:
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems and production Go, Rust, or async Python.
- Familiarity with LLM-specific backend concerns is a plus.
- Exposure to Kubernetes and containerization; interest in sandboxing or security is a plus.
