Role Overview:
- The Director will build and execute a high-caliber investor relations function for a publicly traded biotech company.
- This role requires strong understanding of equity markets and clinical-stage company strategy.
- Remote role reporting to the CFO, with periodic travel for conferences and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support development of IR strategy in partnership with CFO, CEO, and senior leadership.
- Refine investor messaging, Q&A, and materials for earnings, presentations, and SEC filings.
- Monitor investor sentiment, analyst commentary, and competitive developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in science, business, or finance preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience with 5-8+ in biotech IR, sell-side research, or related capital markets role.
- Strong scientific and financial communication skills, with attention to detail and discretion.
Position Location:
- This is a remote role, with periodic travel for team and company events.
- The anticipated salary range is $250,000 - $275,000, depending on experience and geography.
