Staff Backend Engineer - Grafana App Platform

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and operate backend systems for a multi-tenant, scalable Grafana app platform, ensuring high availability and data isolation.
• Own the full development lifecycle from design to production, including participation in weekday and weekend on-call rotations.
• Mentor colleagues and collaborate with cross-functional teams, using pragmatic AI-assisted tools for coding, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications and Fit:

• Proven experience building and operating SaaS platforms, with strong skills in distributed systems challenges like scalability and multi-tenancy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to work transparently across teams and handle ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in or eagerness to learn Golang, with a focus on progress over perfection and alignment with open-source, community-driven values.
