About the Role:
- Acts as an intermediary between retail insurance agencies and partner carriers to broker commercial insurance products.
- Manages and supports the placement of coverages through underwriting, rating, and quoting processes.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of commercial lines underwriting or brokerage experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Agriculture, Business, or related field; Associates degree minimum.
- Insurance license, CPCU, CIC, or comparable designations required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyzes submissions and determines best available carrier and coverages for both small and large accounts.
- Utilizes carrier and internal management systems for brokerage processing, including rating, quoting, and binding.
- Builds and maintains relationships with agencies and insureds, providing ongoing service to grow the portfolio.
