Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Informix Migration Consultant to lead the assessment and modernization of a mission-critical legacy system built on Informix database and 4GL applications. The ideal candidate will conduct a comprehensive audit of existing Informix databases and 4GL applications, documenting architecture, dependencies, and business logic.
Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to capture new system requirements, researching and recommending modern database and application solutions, and developing a detailed migration plan. They will also provide technical leadership to the development team, ensuring data integrity, application functionality, and performance optimization.
Qualifications include expert-level knowledge of IBM Informix, deep experience with Informix 4GL, a proven track record in migrating Informix-based systems, and excellent communication skills.
