Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the strategy for The Athletic.
- Manage the hiring process as additional engineers join our team.
- Make technology, infrastructure, architectural, and hiring decisions to meet anticipated demands and scale.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience managing an engineering team.
- Experience leading a team building a consumer product on both web and iOS/Android.
- Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
