MSL/Sr. MSL, Lung Solid Tumor (Great Lakes)

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based scientific expert who strategically supports the research and business objectives within a specific therapeutic area throughout the product lifecycle. MSLs serve as the primary communicators of AbbVie science within a designated geographic area, engaging with healthcare professionals. They possess a combination of strong business acumen, clinical expertise, and market awareness, acting as a conduit of information both externally and internally to a cross-functional customer base within AbbVie. Responsibilities include supporting research initiatives across development, identifying and building relationships with external experts, communicating field insights to internal partners, educating healthcare providers on disease states and AbbVie products, and collaborating with in-field teams to execute territory plans. The MSL also serves as a scientific resource for commercial partners, participates in Medical Congress staffing, and ensures efficient resource utilization. This role requires compliance with corporate policies and procedures and the ability to meet targeted goals related to external experts.
