Senior Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design, validating solutions through data and experimentation.
• Participate in code and design reviews, and own applications during business hours to ensure reliability.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 2 years of experience, or an advanced degree with no prior experience.
• Proficiency in modern backend languages such as Java, Kotlin, or similar.
• Experience building and operating large-scale, high-performance, resilient systems, with strong communication skills.

Tools & Platforms:

• One or more modern backend programming languages (Java, Kotlin, or similar).
• AI-assisted coding tools; no specific product is prescribed.
• Metrics, logging, and analytics tools; no specific platform is prescribed.

Location & Engagement:

• Candidates must be based in an eligible LATAM location.
• Working-hour coverage aligned with U.S. Central or Pacific Time is required.
• Enterprise experience is strongly preferred.
