Senior Software Engineer - Backend/Kotlin

About the Role:

• Senior Backend Engineer on Fanatics Core, building shared platform services.
• Work on the Fanatics App, enabling betting, ecommerce, and collectibles experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems and tools.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and on-call support.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in scalable backend systems; Kotlin/Java and Spring preferred.
• Strong communication, Agile expertise, and observability knowledge.
• Nice to have: Kubernetes, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
